DevBatch contacts clients and candidates from an @devbatch.com email address. DevBatch is not currently hiring. If anything claiming to be DevBatch doesn't match this page, treat it as an impersonator and tell us at inquiry@devbatch.com.
The channels that are actually ours
| Channel | The real one | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Any address ending in @devbatch.com | Every client and candidate conversation. | |
| Staff addresses | firstname@devbatch.com | Individual staff. This is the pattern, not a directory of people. |
| General inbox | inquiry@devbatch.com | New business, and where to report an impersonator. |
| Billing | billing@devbatch.com | Invoices and billing email. Nothing else sends an invoice. |
| Phone | +1 (510) 565-5589 | The number on this website and on our invoices. |
| https://www.linkedin.com/company/devbatch | The company page we control. | |
| Clutch | https://clutch.co/profile/devbatch | Reviews. |
| Website | https://devbatch.com | Everything we publish. |
How we hire
DevBatch is not currently hiring. A message about an open role is not from us. LinkedIn career inquiries get a standard decline.
When we do hire, this is the only path, and it starts on this website:
- You write to us, or you apply through the form on devbatch.com/careers. We don't reach out first with a job you never applied for.
- A conversation with the person who would manage the work.
- A short paid exercise on a real problem, or a live working session.
- An offer, in writing, from an @devbatch.com address.
The exercise in step 3 is paid by us, to you.
How to check a message is really us
- Look at the sender's full address, not the display name. It has to end in @devbatch.com. A staff address looks like firstname@devbatch.com.
- Call +1 (510) 565-5589 and ask whether that person works here. We will tell you.
- Or forward the message to inquiry@devbatch.com and we'll tell you.
Quotes, invoices and payment
Invoices and billing emails come only from billing@devbatch.com. If you get an invoice, a change of bank details, or a payment request that you didn't expect, call us on +1 (510) 565-5589 before paying. We will never ask you to pay a new account you weren't already paying.
If you think you've been contacted by an impersonator
Email inquiry@devbatch.com with "Impersonation" in the subject. Include the sender's address, the profile link, and a screenshot if you have one.
