Senior engineers on your team in days, not months.

A vetted bench. US-LLC contracts. Time-zone overlap with US business hours. We put a 6-person React pod into production for an enterprise AI/SaaS platform in 11 days. Same playbook for you.

Who it's for

Engineering scalers post-funding, not first-time founders.

  • VP Engineering teams missing senior capacity at $5M+ ARR with 10+ in-house engineers.
  • Series A through C+ AI/SaaS companies, $25-100k/mo capacity, USA-based.
  • PE-backed firms standardizing engineering across portfolio companies.
  • Returning customers expanding scope mid-engagement (the most common shape).

What's included

Capabilities that ship, not capabilities that talk.

SR
Senior engineers (5+ years)
No juniors on the bench. The vet bar is would I let this person commit unsupervised on day one.
Capability →
TZ
US time-zone overlap
5+ hours of working overlap with US Central. Stand-ups in your meeting hours.
Capability →
REPO
On your tools
Your repo, your CI, your standards. We integrate; we don't import a parallel process.
Capability →
LLC
US-LLC contract surface
W-9 ready. DPA available. NDA standard. IP transfer on commit. The boring stuff already solved.
Capability →
AI
AI-augmented delivery
Engineers ship with AI tooling by default. The 5-vs-20 math is the offer, not a gimmick.
Capability →
EHR
Healthcare-aware option
PHI-aware engineers from the same bench. Cross-link to the healthcare vertical landing.

How we work

Discovery in a call. Match in a week. Ship in two.

01 · Day 0

Discovery call

30 minutes. Role, stack, team shape, timeline. We tell you on the call if we can match.

02 · Day 5

Vetted shortlist

2-3 candidates with sample work, reference availability, and direct interview slots in your calendar.

03 · Day 11

First commit

Onboarded engineers shipping inside your repo, on your standards, in your stand-ups.

Pricing

Honest ranges, not 'starting at' hand-waving.

Three capacity bands. The same playbook across all three; the band changes the cadence and the shape of onboarding, not the quality of the engineer.

Small pod
$25k50k/mo
$300-600k annual · 1-3 engineers · T&M + retainer
  • Lighter onboarding
  • Returning-customer cadence
  • Best for trust-network deals
Standard pod most common
$50k100k/mo
$600k-1.2M annual · 3-10 engineers · T&M + retainer
  • Custom proposal
  • Case-study heavy onboarding
  • Tier 1 SaaS-shape default
Large pod
$100k+/mo
$1.2M+ annual · 10-25 engineers · T&M + retainer
  • Slower deeper nurture

FAQ — staff augmentation

The questions every VP Eng asks.

Where are the engineers based?
Distributed across regions selected for time-zone overlap with US business hours. Specific locations covered under NDA in the discovery call. We don't reveal the bench geography on the open web.
Do you offer direct-hire conversion?
Yes, with a conversion fee scaled to engagement length. Most clients keep the staff-aug shape; the conversion option exists for the cases where it makes sense.
What's the minimum engagement?
3 months for a single engineer. 6 months for a pod. Below that, the onboarding overhead doesn't pay back for either side.
Are you a Toptal alternative?
We solve the same buyer problem differently. Marketplaces give you a hiring funnel; we give you a bench plus contract surface. Most clients we win from marketplaces wanted the second thing and didn't realize it.
How do contracts and IP transfer work?
You contract with DevBatch LLC, a Texas entity. Standard W-9, NDA, DPA, and IP transfer terms on commit. Procurement boxes get checked on the first call.
